Yayasan Sabah Shipping Sdn Bhd (**6379-T) started its shipping activities in 1971 with the initial objective to venture into the shipping industry, to provide a regular, efficient and effective supply of vessels for the carriage of logs for export from Sabah.

In 1993, Yayasan Sabah Shipping Sdn Bhd embarked on a vessel rationalisation programme whereby, it functionally diversified into the carriage of bulk liquid products ie. palm oil, other oil products, petrochemical and also dry bulk cargoes.

Currently, Yayasan Sabah Shipping Sdn Bhd has diversified into Off-shore Support Services industry and into other viable business activities related to maritime and logistics sector.
