Inside Scoop, a dream born out of Edmund Tan and Lim Shiew Li's passion for creating genuinely fresh ice cream for Malaysians. Inspired by their love for ice cream and a desire to fill a gap in the premium ice cream market dominated by international chains, they embarked on a mission to craft locally-made, high-quality ice cream with natural flavors and creamy textures.

Despite lacking formal culinary training, the duo, driven by their ice cream passion, took the unconventional route. Shiew Li enrolled in Gelato University, Italy, to delve into the science behind ice cream. Established in 2013, Inside Scoop fearlessly challenges Malaysian taste buds with unique, handcrafted flavors. Using premium ingredients sourced globally and influenced by their Malaysian roots, eating explorations, travels, and current trends, Inside Scoop has become a beloved ice cream destination.

Humble beginnings saw Edmund and Shiew Li tirelessly testing and churning flavors, leading to the opening of the first outlet in Bangsar in late 2013, featuring 16 flavors, including best sellers like Durian and Valrhona Chocolate. The success continued with the birth of the second outlet in Damansara Jaya in July 2014, marking the beginning of Inside Scoop's delicious journey.
