27/09/2001 marked as a history for Rumpun Selera as we emerged in the food and beverage industry. A combined knowledge from top management mainly in publishing, human resources, banking, advertising and engineering has somehow fruitfully mold Rumpun Selera to stand and outlived.

Our operational hours for Rumpun Selera Bandar Baru Selayang runs from 7.00am until 2.00am, operating all year for 9 years except for 4 days (Idul Fitri & Idul Adha) gives us vast practical experience in managing high end service through thick and thin.

We have skilled manpower and most of whom had been working with us for as early as the name Rumpun Selera itself. Today we have at least 45 staff working for our 3 restaurant branches and 1 central kitchen.

We have experience in handling restaurants with variety of food including traditional Malay food, Chineese food, Indian food and Western food. Our catering services include meetings, seminars, high table dinner, annual dinner, Hari Raya openhouses, buffet, weddings, engagements, house parties, barbeque dinners, family days and sports day.

Our journey of F&B experiences soldier on with operating few university cafes including MARA Institute of Technology, Shah Alam and currently 2 cafes in International Islamic University , Mahallah Ruqayyah and Kulliyah of Law. We further expand our expertise and proficiency in performing on short solid contracts for government ministries and overseas guests, and VIP caterings. However small nor insignificant caterings, we attempt with our best knowledge and interest.

We had the experience of serving YH princesses of Johor, Cik Puan Muda Pahang, Minister of Works from Spain, Minister of Works from China, Minister of Works from Nigeria, Minister of Works from Papua New Guinea and our Vice Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Dato' Haji Muhyiddin Yassin. We serve government ministers almost at least once a week. Our current solid customers are Berita Harian, Harian Metro, New Straits Times, Maybank Federal Territory, CIDB, JKR, FAMA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Prolintas PNB, and many more.

Our development plan on owning two unit of three storey building for centralised kitchen are currently progressing and waiting for CF approval. With our financial capability, we purchased a few assets which shall benefit us in our long term planning. Recently we purchased our very own restaurant premise, a corner lot in front of the stadium. 4 years ago we had already purchase the intermediate building next to it.

Our management team vow to strive harder and commit to raise Rumpun Selera higher. We have our short term and long term planning. These planning involves commitment, consistency and team work. We are now looking for candidates who seek experience and willing to be in our team.

We seek 2 candidates to join our small management team. One for assisting in catering and customer care while another for assisting in monitoring reports from restaurant branches and assisting in paperworks for finance, accounts, costings and sales report.

Work hours is from 9.00 am - 5.00pm, working from Monday - Saturday(optional). Breakfast and lunch is free as we are in F&B industry. We provide hostels and transport for staff.
