RosettaNet Engineering

Established since January 2002, RosettaNet Engineering operates as the Technical Arm of RosettaNet. As the XML Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) in Penang, RosettaNet Engineering's key responsibilities are to generate RosettaNet's Partner Interface Process (PIP) Specifications, Architectural Components and Implementation Tools.

Following the recent merger with the GS1 US (formerly known as Uniform Code Council (UCC)), RosettaNet Engineering will play a vastly expanded role in supporting Application Development for GS1 US subsidiaries such as UCCnet, eBusinessReady and EPCglobal US while maintaining its traditional role in RosettaNet. Headquartered in New Jersey USA, GS1 US works collaboratively with GS1 (formerly known as EAN) to manage the EAN.UCC standards which are widely used today in various industries. Some standards which are defined by EAN.UCC include UCCnet and EPCglobal. The diverse areas of involvement opens up new, challenging and exciting opportunities for learning and growth with far reaching benefits to the global community.
