About Okachi (M) Sdn Bhd
Okachi Malaysia is a pioneer and one of the most experienced futures brokerage houses in the Malaysian futures industry. We were among the original clearing members of the Kuala Lumpur Commodities Exchange (KLCE) which was founded in 1980 and was the first futures exchange in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Our parent company Okachi & Co Ltd Japan has been in the futures industry since 1951 as a prominent member of the Nagoya Textile Exchange. The KLCE eventually became a part of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) where all futures trading takes place in Malaysia.
We are a Trading and Clearing Participant in BMD. In 2015 Okachi was awarded the Top Clearing Broker in BMD, approximately 20% of all volume traded on BMD was done by Okachi. We are the first futures brokerage house in Malaysia to trade in overseas markets, and we provide our clientele access to futures trading in the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, and Singapore.
