NK Agroforest Sdn Bhd

NK agroforest Sdn Bhd was established since 2013 in a strategic area Sememyih for aquaculture. It is a local-own company with 3 major shareholders. The company is adopting a systematic management for aquaculture. Operating on a land of approximately 50 acres, NK agroforest is one of major players in production of Tilapia fish for local market. A total of 18 ponds are available for fish out-growth with rotation basis. Tilapia is the most important fish aquaculture species in Malaysia owning to its reasonable price with high marketability. Due to the ease of culturing and relatively lower cost of outgrowth, Tilapia is now the most essential aquaculture protein source locally. An even greater demands is awaiting and thus induces a bloom in downstream and upstream industry. 

Apart from out-growth, the hatchery center is expending to support the Tilapia farming industry. Using ex-situ hatchery technique, NK is currently supplying the Tilapia fingerlings to whole Malaysia. Exerting a systematic management and valuating Science-based farming, NK is venturing into self-sustainable farming where the out-growth is supported by well-fertilized ponds. In concordance with sustainability aquaculture, NK practices the up-to-date technologies in farming to endure highest quality of fishes. NK aims to further expand with new up-coming projects.
