Netstar was established in 1996 and has paid up capital of RM 7.5 Million.Our twin objectives are (i) to provide connectivity to all stakeholders especilaly the customer (ii) provide green energy solutions

Netstar Advanced Systems Sdn Bhd is a leader in vehicle tracking and recovery and fleet management using GPS/GSM/RF (radio frequency) for over a decade in Malaysia. In 2001 It became a joint venture between RTG Corporation Sdn Bhd (60%) and Proton Edar Sdn Bhd (40%). In 2014, Netstar became a wholly-owned subsidiary of RTG.

To date Netstar has installed about 60,000 vehicles of various brands/models.Over the past 5 years, together with our technolgy partner Netstar South Africa, we successfully tested our telematics product with several insurance companies locally. Our telematics product will be profitable for all stakeholders - customers /vehicle manufacturer /insurance / police.

We have now secured a partnership with a major vehicle manufacturer to install our telematics product into all its vehicles over time.

Since 2001 Netstar has been involved in the LED lighting and electronics components / parts supply chain locally by supplying components to the LED industry including plastic and electronic components.  It has supplied optical layer lens (Fresnel) for traffic lights and optical parts and components to local manufacturers and integrators.

Together with Itramas Technology Sdn Bhd, it has also participated in some architectural LED lighting projects in China and Singpore.

In 2013 Netstar supplied RM 7 million worth of electronic components for LED lighting to Itramas Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.

Teaming up with international and local LED partners including its parent RTG that focus on R&D on LED lighting and luminaries, Netstar is able to offer both driver and driverless LED technology as well as sensor-driven systems and software-controlled color adaptation to provide intelligent lighting systems.  Its unique selling point is its ability to provide more lumens per watt.

We have recently completed 2 parcels of work for Quantum Solar park [ Mechang-Trengganu ] worth about RM 26 million in Road/Drainage and electrical.
