Khong & Jaafar was initially established in 1965 as Khong & Co and incorporated as Khong & Jaafar Sdn on 25th January 1977 and later converted to Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd on 13 May 1981. The Group presently comprises three private limited companies namely, Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd, Khong & Jaafar (Real Estate) Sdn Bhd and Khong & Jaafar (Corporate Services) Sdn Bhd.

Khong & Jaafar Sdn Bhd is the main company and undertakes valuations of all types of real estate interests, plant and machinery, provision of real estate services such as research, and specialised real estate consultancy work, property management, property consultancy, property investment advisory, market and feasibility research and studies, litigation support, tenant representation. Khong & Jaafar (Real Estate) Sdn Bhd is solely involved in the practice of estate agency i.e., the acting as agents for the buying, selling or letting of properties for principals. Khong & Jaafar (Corporate Services) Sdn Bhd (“KJCS”) a corporate finance advisory firm licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA) and is involved in provision of corporate finance advisory and consulting services, including business and intangibles valuation. 

The total staff strength of the Khong & Jaafar Group is about 40 made up of registered valuers, qualified valuers, semi-professionals and administrative staff,
