Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Managing Director by ensuring that all necessary financial and administrative information is accurately prepared and readily available. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Managing Director by providing timely and accurate financial and operational information.
Follow the company SOP to handle full set accounts and tax work and activities.
Review and check all company finance-related reports and transactions based on company policy and procedures.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Familiarize with finance account management framework, processes, and internal cost controls to strategically manage the organization's risk exposure in finance, costing, credit risks, accounting systems, and other related areas across the company.
Ensure all periodic reports are promptly completed and properly submitted to relevant authorities and units.
Prepare full set accounts, including keying in daily data accounting transactions, journals, fixed asset register, and sub-ledger.
Compile bank, creditors, and inter-company reconciliations.
Prepare budget and cashflow reports.
Handle tax-related issues and liaise with external parties for audit and related tasks.
Prepare monthly management reports for top management review.
Monitor petty cash reimbursement and assist in ad hoc assignments and related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Certificate or Professional Degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar role (3-5 years).
Strong understanding of [industry or sector] and its trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting systems.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Certification in account management or related field.
