Established to meet the growing demands for aviation services in Sarawak, Hornbill Skyways Sdn. Bhd. was officially in the skies on 1st March, 1978. At this time, the Company operated out of Kuching with only one fixed-wing Cessna 421 and two Bell 206B Jet Ranger helicopters.
With its qualified and experienced personnel in various disciplines, Hornbill Skyways has since inception been moving from the twilight to the sunshine, from a narrative to a legend. Capable and diligent professionals provide practical and authoritative expertise, which ensure that the Company maintains premium standards of safety and services.
Hornbill Skyways maintains its principal operational base at the Kuching International Airport, Sarawak, Malaysia. The Company also maintains 2 hangars in Miri; one to serve the northern region of Sarawak and another unit is for Offshore operations.
Hornbill Skyways currently owns a fleet of aircraft which include 2 units of Bell 206 Jet Ranger (B3), 2 unit of Bell 206 Long Ranger (L4), 5 units of EC 135, 1 unit of EC 155, 2 units of A175, 1 unit of Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air), 2 units of King Air 300 and 1 unit of Executive Jet (Challenger 605).
