Home-Fix was established in 1993 by two brothers, Low Cheong Kee (CK) and Low Cheong Yew (CY). From its humble beginnings as a family-owned hardware shop at Singlap Centre, Home-Fix has frown into a chain of 23 stores with an additional 8 in Malaysia and one in Indonesia. Through pure hard work and a steadfast commitment to a shared vision, the Low brothers have been instrumental in shaping the local DIY and home improvements retail scene.

The Lows share a common desire to promote the practice of DIY home improvements among consumers, by empowering them with the tools and the knowledge to 'do it themselves'. They also aim to move Home-Fix beyond being a mere retailer of DIY products, and towards becoming a fully-fledged lifesyle brand synonymous with a home-centric, home-loving and house-proud lifestyle.
