About Faidhi Holdings Sdn Bhd
Faidhi Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 20th October, 2010 to strengthen the structure of its group of companies with major involvement in oil and gas industry. The Corporate office is located at the centre of Kuala Lumpur which is convenient and near to most related Government Agencies, suppliers and provided with great communication facilities.
Its subsidiary, Faidhi Technologies Sdn. Bhd. is responsible of carrying out research and development of the technology application which was determined can be done locally.
Throughout early research, there are three main manufacturers (Norway, Sweden & Czech Republic) in the world which produce LPG Composite Cylinders and Faidhi Group of Companies aimed to be the fourth (4th) company in the world and the first (1st) in Asia Region.
Faidhi Group of Companies foresees great opportunity of local market as well as international markets (Asian and Middle East). This is due to the fact that distributions of LPG to end users using cylinders (steel) are widely used. Furthermore, the populations of mentioned markets and percentage of consumers using LPG are huge. Thus, Malaysia should grab this opportunity and becoming the first country in Asia to produce and supply LPG Composite Cylinders.
History
Mr. Abu Talib Hj. Abu, had himself with brilliant visions for the future, and soon became the founder of Faidhi Group of Companies on 2005. United by a common entrepreneurial vision, marketing and research, to provide the comprehensive downstream of “Advanced Material” - composite equipment and services.
He was originated as a pioneer of PROTON in automotive and manufacturing company. But in 1995 he left PROTON to stand his own engineering and manufacturing company as an entrepreneur. In 2005 its scope has expanded towards designing, researching and developing the future technology, platforming "Advanced Material".
It's all about the commitment, for a competitive progress beyond culture and landscape boundaries - that supports local, regional and global needs. As the latest technology, reliable products and professional support services, makes it as the secret ingredients for the great recipe of a bright future.
On 20th October 2010, together with 2 other subsidiaries, makes Faidhi Holdings Sdn Bhd as the main company for the Faidhi Group of Companies. The Research and Development unit took the responsibility on providing their original design for the customers, organizing scientific investigation and experimentation, developing/inventing new products to create more chapters for tomorrow's technology.
The team of Corporate Service and Technical Department, are filled with experienced members that knows what's alleged to the technical spec., and comprehensive investigation are for the purpose of ensuring the technical integrity of the products.
Product & Services
The involvement of Faidhi Holdings’ founder (Mr. Abu Talib Hj. Abu) in the automotive industry previously (pioneer personnel with PROTON and as Proton Vendor later on) which specialised in plastic injection moulding and vehicle body parts is the major strength for Faidhi Holdings to undertake this project which covers 80% of overall technology. The remaining 20% of advanced technology (composite liner winding) is done with collaboration of SIRIM which undertake the winding pattern process test and conduct samples product testing to suit the local and international standards. Once the prototype product tests completed and certified by SIRIM, the production is planned to be operated by early January 2012 to initially cater the market of Klang Valley first.
The LPG Composite Cylinder is an innovative product that should replace the existing steel cylinder, because it has many advantages such as non-explode, light weight (more than 50% lighter than steel cylinder), lower cost of production, elegant shapes, easy and convenient handling (home and industrial users, transporters, campers, etc.). As the materials used are plastic and composite fibre, this should curb the issue of steel cylinder pilferage activities as a result of recycle steel value increasing today. And most of all is because of the safety issue where the risky and dangerous ‘time bomb’ of steel cylinders should be replaced by composite cylinders
As studied and planned, the cost of LPG Composite cylinder to end users should be comparatively lower than steel cylinders and end users have choices or alternative of multiple product shapes, ranging from low to high end designed shapes.
Faidhi Holdings strongly believed and confident that this product could be easily accepted by all users. More than thirty years of LPG steel cylinders in circulation locally and cases of LPG steel cylinders explosion report repeatedly, could lead to a paradigm shift of end users mind to change and use this new concept, innovative and safe product
To protect Faidhi Holdings Sdn Bhd of capturing the technology and designs and preventing from ‘pirating’ activities, we have taken steps to get pattern rights and product certification from SIRIM and international body (European Standard).
