Oriental Eden Sdn Bhd (“Oriental Eden”), an OEM manufacturer of halal food and pastries, was established in February 2001 in the state of Selangor. The company is the secret behind the popular curry puff snacks sold at the Malaysia and Singapore stores of the world’s largest furniture retailer, a Swedish multinational group. Besides its signature pastry, Oriental Eden also distributes spring rolls and to large-scale hypermarkets, café chains, and prominent food-caterers in Malaysia. All products are certified halal by JAKIM since 2006, together with HACCP and FSSC *2000 food safety certifications. We continue to strengthen our good manufacturing practices with future certification in the works. Manufacturing facilities have expanded over the past years to 14,000 sq/ft built-up area to meet increasing demand from major customers. Oriental Eden has a current production capacity of 50,000 pieces of total produce daily, supported by two automated production lines. The great taste of the company’s famous curry puffs is an open formula. It is a harmony of quality ingredients, continuous product development, and advanced production techniques.
