The word “Eccaz” is derived from the root Latin word of “ecce” which means “behold”. In English, the word “behold” means “to perceive through sight or apprehension”, or “to gaze upon”, usually at something that is remarkable and out-of-the-ordinary. Its meaning transcends that of “look,” “see,” “notice,” or other synonyms that we might compare it to.

Eccaz Sdn. Bhd. (“Eccaz”) is founded during the depths of a crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and signifies a new beginning of looking towards the future, where humanity triumphs over adversity. Whilst we are excited to announce the formation of Eccaz, its name is not a call to behold our arrival, but rather an invitation to behold the future, and to gaze upon the remarkable world that we can build together going forward.
