Company Overview 

D’Touch International Sdn Bhd, formerly known as D’Touch Promotion Sdn Bhd, was founded in 1989 by Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, who now serves as the company's President. In 2009, the company underwent a name change to D’Touch International Sdn Bhd, reflecting its expanding business ventures overseas.

Originating as an event planning and management company, D’Touch International has evolved into a prominent name in both local and international beauty pageants. With a wealth of experience in event management and beauty pageant organization, Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi introduced his first international titles, Queen of the Year International (now known as Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International) and Miss Tourism International in 1993 and 1994, respectively.

Over the years, D’Touch has successfully orchestrated more than 50 Miss Malaysia finals and 42 International Pageant World Finals, including the most recent Miss Tourism International.

Today, D’Touch International is synonymous with the world of beauty pageants, boasting over 25 years of experience that has produced 100 Miss Malaysia and 91 international titleholders.

D’Touch International Sdn Bhd, a company registered under the Malaysia Companies Act 1965, operates as a full-fledged event management and promotion company. Under the guidance of Tan Sri Datuk Danny Ooi, a visionary Malaysian, the company has aimed to place Malaysia on the global stage.

In the 1990s, D’Touch managed various corporate accounts, including well-known brands such as Carlsberg, Guinness Anchor, National Panasonic, and JVC. Promotional events encompassed diverse ground-level activities, from product launches to talent competitions and themed weekly events.

D’Touch ventured into beauty pageant organization in 1989 with Miss Malaysia China Town (later renamed Miss Chinese International). Since then, the company has solidified its presence and reputation in the beauty pageant industry.

The two renowned international pageant titles, Miss Tourism International and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International, are now franchised to over 80 countries.
