Tappers cafe was established following the conceptualization by its founders of a new and refreshing café concept amidst a flurry of “kopitiams” concept cafes sprouting all over the country. The concept of Tappers Café drew its inspiration from Malaysia’s colonial heritage and the popular “snack bars” of the late 60s and early 70s where Hainanese chefs whipped out irresistibly delicious local and western cuisine in a sober colonial air-cooled setting.

The company delivered this wonderful colonial style culinary experience in modern day setting with the opening of the first Tappers Café outlet in Jaya One in early 2008. Various outlets have since been established in various parts of Klang Valley including those in Capsquare KL, the Sphere Bangsar South, SetiaWalk Puchong and Setia Alam Shah Alam. Not surprisingly, the concept of Tappers Café has attracted constant interest for Tappers to expand its business to other locations.

Set in a fusion of contemporary ambience and classic colonial design with louvered windows, grooved white paneling, clustered wall pictures and rattan chairs, Tappers Café serves authentic Hainanese Western fares, Western & English delights blended with an array of local favourites which leave its patrons spoilt for choice.

One could opt for the range of the delicious hearty experience which includes our signature Hainanese Chicken Chop, the Western blend of Chicken Parmigiana and Schnitzel or the exquisite spaghetti options of Olio, Tomato Based and Cream Carbonara.

For the light eaters, Pie & Mash, Fish & Chips, Banger & Mash and our variety of salads present an exciting proposition.

Local favourites of Nasi Dagang, Gulai Ayam, Soya Chicken, Sweet & Sour Fish and “Kung Po” Chicken Rice are also available to satisfy the hunger pangs for those who require a serving of rice for their meal.
