Datuk William C.V.Fong & Partners

The practice, Datuk William C. V. Fong & Partners, was formerly known as William C. V. Fong.  The latter was established in 1960 during the period when major towns that were destroyed during the Second World War was under reconstruction. The reconstruction could not begin immediately after the war because of the shortage of fund however, during the mid 1950's and early 1960's the towns were rebuilt in permanent materials and the practice was established to provide the services required for the task.  The practice was engaged to rebuilt the shophouses such as Tawau Town Extension I and Tawau Town Extension II in order to re-house and up-grade the standard of living for the people in the urban area.  The practice was one of the pioneers in designing housing estates such as Teck Guan Villa in Kota Kinabalu and Amber Park in Tawau in the early 1960's.
