Boral Plasterboard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (BPM) is Malaysia's leading supplier of plasterboard, offering a range of innovative products and systems for commercial and residential ceiling and wall applications. 

Boral Plasterboard Malaysia is a subsidiary of Boral Gypsum in Asia (BGA), owned by Boral Limited (Australia). BGA is Asia's largest manufacturer of plasterboard with plasterboard facilities in Malaysia, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and India, with additional distribution branches in Singapore, Phiippines and UAE.

In Malaysia, we manufacture products from an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility in Parit Buntar, Perak, with commercial offices in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Presently, BPM supplies local plasterboard markets of Malaysia and Singapore under Boral brand. Our plasterboard and system configurations have been assessed to meet the relevant requirements of the British Standards and American Standard, and are specifically tested by accredited facilities for local use i.e. SIRIM for Malaysia.

Incorporated in 1985 with the plant commissioned in 1989, known as Wembley Gypsum Products Sdn Bhd. In 1995, Boral Limited Australia bought over from Innovest Bhd and changed the company name to Boral Plasterboard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. The plant was engineed by Nissan Co. Japan, followed by a series of innovative improvement by our engineers with consultations and technologies from Asia and Europe. The plant now runs at 300% its' original capacity.

In 2001, Boral entered a strategic joint-venture with Lafarge (France) for 10 years, creating the successful Lafarge Boral in Asia (LBGA) Group. In 2011, Boral bought all Lafarge stakes in LBGA, and owned 100% of LBGA which is now known as BGA.
