About the company

B.Grimm Power (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned of B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, a Thailand-based company established 146 years ago, which is listed on The Stock Exchange of Thailand.

As the name suggests, the principal business activities of the B.Grimm Group are the generation and distribution of electricity for the government sector and industrial users, both in Thailand and overseas.

Despite the established history of B.Grimm Power in Thailand, B.Grimm Power Malaysia is currently operating as a start-up in Malaysia. You will part of a dedicated team who are pioneers in successfully growing the Company into an exciting power generation assets company, regionally.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. A Business Administration or a Master's degree is a plus.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, project management, or a related role within the renewable energy sector, with a successful track record of delivering results.
3. Renewable Energy Expertise: In-depth knowledge of various renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and industry trends.
4. Network and Relationships: A well-established network of contacts within the renewable energy industry, including investors, technology providers, developers, and government officials.
5. Strategic Vision: Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities while aligning with the company's long-term objectives.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
7. Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to lead negotiations and close deals that drive business growth. Must be familiar with various EPC contracts.
8. Analytical Mindset: Data-driven decision-maker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
10. Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, embracing change and innovation.
11. Language: Proficiency in English & Bahasa Melayu is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Location: This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, with travel required for industry project visits.
