Linear Design opened its doors in 2002, designing and building interiors for individual home owners. Following that, we began constructing show units for property developers, and then on larger scale projects such as condominiums, offices, sales galleries retail stores as well as hotels. Our design consultancy services encompass space planning, concept development, material and furniture selection, lighting and electrical planning, and build programming. We also engage in build works with strategic partners whom have cooperated with us in these endeavours for more than a decade. Today, Linear Design is a midsize interior design firm and we continue to strive towards greater growth.
Our commitment is to produce sustainable interiors that excel in both form and function. It is in our core interest to effectively transpose our expertise, compounded by our experience into creative ideas that will transform interiors into awe-inspiring, value-added spaces. Our strength lies in our ability to understand and to embrace change. Emerging themes, technological advancement and innovations, and global trends that are fluid and complex constantly challenge our equilibrium, and we have learned that only through acceptance and appreciation can we seek to advance our approach in producing the perfect space.
We believe in people, and we recognise that within each individual lies their own ability to create. As each assignment is novel and unique, the approach and solutions that are devised require configurations of varying proportions, some of which are objective, but much of the rest, subjective. Evolving trends, themes, forms, materials, technology, space and lifestyle also affect the strategy behind each design. There are many areas which require an variety of skillset and decisive decisions to put the design through a test of viability and feasibility; hence, information gathering, organisation and dissemination is vital. We believe that an effective team is one that constantly interacts well. Our open-plan layout was designed to facilitate, encourage and promote synergy that is key to successful deployment and accomplishment of every interior design task at hand.
Aesthetically impressive with the ability to meet functional requirements – these are the fundamental characteristics of well-designed products. In our efforts to carry on the momentum of continuous design improvement, we constantly scrutinise and study our produce and those of others, and engage with trade vendors through factory visits and trade exhibitions. Design and material specifications are carried out with environmental concerns in mind. Effective project management ensures that each assignment is methodically executed so that the design intent is successfully transformed into eloquent functional spaces as we strive to meet and exceed the expectations of an increasingly demanding market.
