Job Description:

As a Special Education Needs (SEN) Educator, you will play a vital role in overseeing and implementing early intervention programs for children with special educational needs. You will collaborate closely with families, community stakeholders, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure each child's unique learning needs are met effectively. Your responsibilities include developing individualized education plans (IEPs), evaluating intervention strategies, and fostering inclusive learning environments. Attention to detail, compassion, and a commitment to evidence-based practices are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and oversee the activities of the early intervention program, ensuring the effective implementation of the curriculum.
Develop and regularly update individualized education plans (IEPs) for each child.
Engage with families and community stakeholders to incorporate their input and priorities into the child's educational plan.
Stay up-to-date and implement latest intervention approaches and tools.
Evaluate effectiveness of interventions, methods, tools and technologies to support learning.
Evaluate developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources to improve quality of learning environments.
Regularly review children's learning progress, goals, and family priorities.
Assures timely and efficient completion of documentation required by the Management.
Ensure quality and accuracy of documents related to individuals we serve.
Communicate or collaborate with other educators, child professionals, therapists and stakeholders for the best interest of the child.
Attend staff training in evidence-based practices to stay informed and provide the best support.
Participate in team meetings, events, and community outreach activities.
Maintain the safety, hygiene, and health of children and the team to create a conducive learning environment

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an early intervention setting.
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Familiarity with evidence-based teaching strategies and adaptive technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in educational practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
