Tanggungjawab

As an account assistant, your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities to support the growth and operations of the business:

  • Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets including processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
  • Accounts Payable: Managing the accounts payable process by verifying and recording invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling statements.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generating invoices, monitoring customer accounts, and following up on overdue payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Comparing bank statements with internal financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budget and Forecast Preparation: Involvement in preparing budgets and forecasts, analysing past financial data, and assisting in creating future financial plans, including cash flow management.
  • Assisting with Audits: Providing support during internal or external audits by gathering documentation and answering inquiries.
  • Payroll Support: Maintaining employee records, calculating wages, and preparing payroll reports.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Filing paperwork, responding to emails or inquiries, and maintaining organized financial records.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Preparation of Annual Report: Participating in preparing the organization's annual report, compiling financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Coordination with External Auditors and Governing Authorities: Acting as a liaison between the organization and external auditors, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies, providing necessary documentation and support during audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
