Shop Manager - DAISO Festival City, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur
- Plan and monitor operational efficiency to ensure sales and gross profit is met and customer satisfaction level is sustainable
- Manage and motivate staffs, recruit, train and develop staff according to company policies. Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed (appraisal, discipline, grievance etc.)
- Plan and implement shop merchandising, layout, customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and appearance, image & ergonomic for customers
- Manage selling & customer service activities & staff competence in their areas, so as to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Manage cost and overhead, and all factors affecting the profitability of the tenant shop
- Liaise with both shopping centre and store authorities as necessary (eg. Advertising, local councils and authorities.)
- Liaise with and utilize support from suppliers, merchandiser & other partners as required
- Develop personal skills & capability through on u0096 going training provided by the company
Tanggungjawab
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, and customer service.
- Hire, train, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel, to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Monitor cafe performance metrics, such as sales revenue, profit margins, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to drive traffic to the cafe and increase brand awareness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local community members.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
