Kelayakan
- Preferably a Green Book / Degree holder in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent / Diploma or NIOSH Certification related to Occupational Health and Safety;
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Preferably 3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
- Possess a positive attitude, and ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
- Good knowledge of occupational Safety and Health Act and practices, legal requirements concerning safety management systems, and ISO quality management systems.
Tanggungjawab
- Develop safety policy and procedures or related matters to ensure safety compliance with all legal requirements;
- Respond to complaints and concerns from employees or employers, investigate and take appropriate action;
- To conduct investigations on accidents, incidents, and near misses;
- Recommend corrective and preventive action in respect of health, safety, and environmental matters;
- Liaise with local authorities (DOSH, DOE, BOMBA & PBT, etc.) to ensure compliance with all legal and other requirements and facilitate a visit of the government officers as and when required;
- Inspect the workplace to ensure compliance with OHSAS standards;
- Conduct on-site audits to ensure the condition of all equipment, machines, and facilities are safe for operation;
- Perform periodic Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk 8. Control (HIRARC) through inspection and audit of buildings, workshops, container yard, and other facilities;
- To organize and conduct training and establish awareness related to Safety and Health regulations;
- Conduct refresher training for all Prime Mover Drivers including defensive driving skills;
- Conduct meetings of the Safety and Health Committee according to the OSHA Act and prepare all the safety reports or related documentation;
- To maintain records concerning Safety and Health matters or accidents and injuries;
