Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Possess practical experience in IoT device development, covering both hardware and software integration aspects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaScript, or equivalents.
- Have familiarity with IoT communication protocols, including but not limited to BLE and Wi-Fi.
- Exhibit knowledge of IoT cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and their harmonization with IoT devices.
- Be acquainted with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32), and sensor technologies.
- Showcase excellent problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills, facilitating effective teamwork within diverse environments.
Desirable Skills (BONUS):
- Experience with IoT in specific domains such as smart homes and industrial IoT is a plus.
- Project management experience or certifications.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and engineer IoT devices and systems, encompassing sensors, hardware components, and firmware development.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to seamlessly integrate IoT devices into cloud services and user applications.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures on IoT systems, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Remain updated on the latest advancements and trends in IoT technologies, contributing to the company's innovative endeavors.
- Partner with product management and other stakeholders to delineate requirements and specifications for IoT solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve any issues pertaining to IoT devices and systems, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, encompassing system designs, test plans, and user guides.
