The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia

IIA Malaysia was established in 1977 as a Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc, USA and elevated to the status of a National Institute in 1988 when our membership exceeded the 500 mark. We are part of the worldwide body which has more than 160,000 members with representatives from over 165 countries. In July 1994, IIA Malaysia was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee and since then, we have grown progressively in size and stature. In May 2016, IIA Malaysia has create another milestone where we relocate our office into the city centre, heart of Malaysia. A new location signifies a new beginning for the Institute and improve facilities for the members. The Institute will continue to forge ahead to ensure the sustainable growth and development of the profession. Now, we serve more than 3000 members in Malaysia.
