Service Maintain a profitable reputable café, that is:
- Handle cash transactions honestly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Assist in the supervision of the profitable café.
- Assist the Café & Assistant Manager in planning and executing all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain an efficient, friendly service standard at all time.
- Politely answer the telephone and customer questions.
- Respond proactively to prevent and resolve customer service situations.
- Handle all drink and food items during preparation safely.
Store Operations
Maintaining efficient and sales targets, and surpass customer’s expectations on each occasion, that is:
- Complete daily report as assigned.
- Inform the Café Manager / Assistant Manager of any operational inconsistencies.
- Maintain acceptable amounts of coffee, baked goods and supplies for the bar.
- Order baked goods, coffee and supplies when needed.
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Report all employee accidents to the Café Manager / Assistant Manager and complete all personnel forms when necessary.
- Report potential safety hazards to Café Manager / Assistant Manager.
- Restock shelves when necessary.
- Clean the bar area, floor, grinders, take out trash, etc routinely.
- Take bank deposit to the bank and brings change back if necessary.
Employee Development
Motivating & Developing crews, that is:
- Assists in the training of new employees.
- Delegates duties to Brew Crews as necessary.
- Leads by example.
- Motivates crews to maintain and serve consistent quality products every time.
- Perpetuates Company philosophy
Product Knowledge
Deliver consistent quality products, that is:
- Assist the Café Manager and Assistant Manager in educating all Brew Crews on all products and services.
- Maintain the highest quality, consistent product standards.
- Oversee drink-making and ensuring that only consistent quality drinks and products are served.
- Strictly adhere to and enforcing SOPs on all drink and gourmet items.
Store Presentation
Maintain a comfortable, conducive outlet by:
- Follow guidelines on music.
- Keep all tables cleared of trays and used utensil or cups.
- Keep all floors dry & free of litter.
- Maintain a clean, well-merchandised café.
